It was a bittersweet and emotional week in Cyprus with the Yiannis Christodoulou Foundation @yianischarity, where I met so many incredible children benefiting from projects funded by the foundation.
I am totally in awe of the unwavering devotion the teachers and caregivers have to the little ones who they support so selflessly at special schools.
Sitting with the parents and hearing their stories was deeply moving. Most of all, the immense love I felt from the children is something I will never forget.
Moments like these offer a poignant reminder as to just how important this work is… and how it must continue!
Every child deserves to have access to a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their development.
The projects in question are making a significant difference for the schools and their students: from specialist equipment for muscular development to play areas designed with the children’s sensory needs in mind. It is a testament to the work of all involved. 🙏
I feel so grateful to have participated and I am looking forward to returning soon to support the charity with future initiatives.
