Two Thousand and Twenty One.
Hey,
Welcome back to the blog, and a brand new year! I am sending you so much positive energy for 2021 and sincerely hope you had a magical festive season, albeit a little different due to the COVID situation. <3
As if 2020 wasn't weird enough, I ended up spending Christmas away from family, in Norway, for the first time in my 23 years. Although it was different, and I had some emotional moments, I felt extremely fortunate to have such amazing friends here that made the holidays so, so special.
It was my first Norwegian Christmas and New Year, and one that I will remember forever. I thought I would share some fun snaps I captured over the holidays with you, including some of my favorite outfits, food, and special memories with friends :)
This Christmas, especially, I felt so much gratitude. It's certainly ironic as I was away from home and my family, but it made me appreciate my relationships with them so much more. I also think that, with such a tumultuous year, this festive season felt a lot more important for everybody. Perhaps we all needed to feel an extra sense of belonging, now more than ever, and a reminder that we're never truly alone.
The new year provides an opportunity to leave the past behind. I am consciously choosing to open myself to the good, bringing only the lessons 2020 taught me into 2021. Will you join me?
Until next time,
HK xoxox
